Local City Council Race :: Matt Kunz, Doug Ireland and Thomas Wight

Today’s show, Matt and Danny of Yepser Internet Strategy, invited local area City Council contenders for a breif political discussion. This coming November 8, 2011, register voters can cast their ballots for City Council in the following local cities:

Milton, Suwanee and Liburn, GA

Matt Kunz, who is running for the seat in Milton, GA states, “I believe that Milton is poised for greatness.  Many of our most pressing issues are settled—incorporation, sewer, basic operations.  Now it is time to take the next step in our growth and stand fully on our own.   We are at a crossroads and the stakes are high.  This election is not about the next four years, but the next 40.  Who we are, who we will become and where we are going will all be determined this year.” You can learn more about Matt on his website.

Doug Ireland is running for City Council in Suwanee, GA. Doug states, “I want Suwanee to continue to attract businesses and jobs while keeping our taxes low.” Learn more about Doug’s views and thoughts for Suwanee’s future on his Facebook Page.

Thomas Wight is running for the City Council seat in Liburn, GA. Thomas states on his website that “I have had an interest in urban planning that goes back to my college days where I majored in Urban Planning at the University of Utah. I have a law degree from Wake Forest University School of Law. Most of my legal career has been with government agencies.I now have a local law practice where I specialize in civil litigation, criminal trials and appeals. I am at a very good time career-wise where I can take my background and experience and make Lilburn a better place.”
